Default My damaged RB5 on Ebay. Email for info

Ebay item: 200043432343

Im the previous owner of the car on ebay . If anyone is genuine about buying it, I`d suggest you email me for more info.

I got paid out for it eventually so I dont own it and Ive now bought a clio for the time being.

Ive still got the pod and defis that fit perfectly into the car. Ive also got aload of other parts too. Like an STI intercooler and a H&S Ninja exhaust.

All my old parts will be sold off later on scoobynet. I just want to see if anyone on here buys my old car first and requires the parts to put it back to how it was. If the new owner doesnt require them, Ive a big list to put on, including orginal suspension with 32k as I changed them to the prodrive stuff.

I`m not selling it as I dont own it any more. The insurance company paid out £12000 so Ive moved on now

The car was going to be repaired but when I had it moved to another bodyshop due to the fear of them doing a below standard job. The insurance company quickly wrote it off!! They even admitted it was to cover them incase it wasnt up to standard and they dont want the come back as they could be sued.

Ill remove the ebay link then as I dont want to get into trouble

That's a very generous offer/payout - providing it wasn't 5 years ago or something

I got paid out about 3 weeks ago . I had enough evidance to support the valuation. I just found a load of adds off the autotrader and Pistonheads that had low milage classics going for 9k-10k and some RB5s going for 11k-12.5k ALL with a crap load more milage. Basically they couldnt argue with what I presented to them so had to cough up. It did take about 4 months of them messing about by keeping me waiting but they paid in the end. Durng their messing about the prices did drop quite a bit so I was a little bit lucky.

It would be nice if an enthusiast can put the car back together especially as it had a load of goodies put on it. The guy thats got it now doesnt seem to know much about Subarus and was set on selling it untill I told him whats on it. He then said he may consider keeping it if he can get rid of some of his other cars.

I think I've seen that car about. Although there are several RB5s in that areas.

Was a nice car when it was in one piece

I just found your thread mate. Sorry to hear you got duped. Thats the one reason I posted this thread so I could give a potential buyer the opotunity to be told exactly where all the damage is and what to look for.

Im sure Ill find out soon enough if its really been sold. I just miss it loads and would like to see it restored and go to a good home.

I know where it was being held while I was waiting for the settlement as I went up to the place and put the original exhaust back on. By that time the 4 pots and the fog coves had gone!! I got my DEFI senders back though. From there it went to the guy on ebay. I`m just qurious to find out where its off to next.

It should still have the 3" downpipe and the Prodrive suspension and whiteline goodies on it too.

Be careful what you say on here J, especially as your car had obvious mods.......and insurance comps don't like mods or even worse not told
