WOW just picked up my first Subaru on Friday and I’m like a little kid on xmas day. I’ve wanted a STI for ages now and finally did the deed. I managed to find an 06 STI with 200 miles on the clock in WR Blue (the only colour to have)(my opinion). I travelled 230 miles to pick it up and I can only say it was the best drive north I’ve ever had. I was always afraid that you should never meet your hero or drive ya dream car.
Not many things I can say negatively about the car except the radio / speakers are a load of ****e and there is an annoying little squeak from the r/h side of the dash and the brakes did not ‘bite’ as good as I was expecting. Of course the brakes will need bedding in and the head unit can be changed.
Apart from that the car is better than I expected and cant wait to have the first service out the way so I can stretch her legs as they say, that wont be long as she now has 550 miles on the clock already. It’s great finding excuses to ‘just pop out’.
A few items still confuse me, when I get used to the car and want to try out the DCCD what are the settings for any certain road conditions. Also the water spray system, if you press the button it only sprays for 2 seconds is this correct.
And to the 2 scooby drivers that were driving south, sorry I did not wave I was trying to work out which was the rev counter and which was the fuel gauge. Also looking to joining some of the local meets.

Just don't use it inappropriately. Like your apostrophes.
