Default Rust spots on roof

Polishing my newly acquired classic this morning and noticed about half a dozen rust/buble spots, any idea why this might happen on roof, rest of car fine(apart from few stone chips).
How much you reckon for spray over, as want to get it colour coded anyway?

regards

Matt

Can sometimes happen when the seal around the screen has'nt been sealed correctly when a replacement screen was fitted or just a break down of the seal over time mate. Quite common tbh. As for cost I have no idea tho it probs would be better to get the entire roof painted so as not to get color match problems.

My classic bubbled at the top of the windscreen seal and I was quoted £250.00 to get it sorted. The body shop did warn me that there would be a possibility that the windscreen could crack when they took it out and that they would not pay if this was to happen.

In the end I just left it and kept a close eye on the spots. They never got any bigger before I sold it.
