Default 07 wrx spoilerless

Has anyone got a picture of the back of an 07 wrx. Must look strange without a spoiler.

Classic Saloons look a lot better without a spoiler.

Is that only for the left hand drive market ? Saw a fair few WRx's in the states without spoliers . Looks OK - a little more subtle than the standard STi item in my eyes

well they do still have one but its only subtle, I've got to say I do like it... I have never been a fan of the flat WRX spoiler, I'm going to get insulted for this but I always see it as a bit of a baby picnic table. The STi spoiler I love but obviously it belongs on an STi and some see it as a little OTT, I like the subtle rear spoiler on the new 07MY and it makes the car instantly recognisable. The idea sounded horrible until I saw lightnings post with those two pics, I'd still like to see one in the flesh in other colours but at the mo it gets the thumbs up from me

Tilly

That's a US spec STI Limited, not what we are having here. UK 07WRX comes with no rear spoiler at all but there are several options including the one in the pics.

Yeah MG did this with their MG ZS 180, the facelift model only had a boot lip spoiler, so they all scrabbled arround fitting Extreme spoilers from the Mk 1 ZS.

Just does not look right without the spoiler.Thats the whole point of buying a scooby with all its in your face spoilers and scoops if you want a more subdued car buy a BMW or Audi.

Subaru have lowered the price of the 07 wrx to £19,995, part of the reason for the deletion of the spoiler is that customers can now spec their own spoiler ranging from the oe STI spoiler to the subtle lip spoiler. A customer facing leaflet has been produced with pictures and prices of the spoiler options available.

When I bought my first classic in 1998 it was purely because of its understated appearance. Nobody knew what it was and nobody knew what it went like.....

Look how superb the new Type 25 looks using the A-Line donor model....
