I'm a 'Scoob' owner, and very happy man, but my 'brother-in-law' to be is not.

As just about everybody on this BBS knows cars inside out, I just wanted ask any car owners out there if they've come across this problem with the 1.8T enegine in an A3. I know this BBS is for Subaru issues, but thought I'd try my luck ;-)

Travelling at 60-70 mph, lift off the accelerator (hard or gently) and the enegine jolts voilently. It feels like you've justed pressed the clutch down and then released quickly.

Any ideas ?

J.
