Default if anyone wants to have their ECU reset (OBD2)

Hi, if anyone wants to have their ECU reset, I have the Tactrix openport cable and would be more than happy to do that for you....or if you want to pull some logs or whatever.......I'm starting to get into the workings of remapping etc so.....at the small price of a beer and some friendly chat or if you prefer without the beer as you are driving.......
I'm in East London, Dagenham rm9.

the ecu can be reset without any leads and it returns the ECU back to factory standard setting. The ECU alters the engine management according to type of fuel used and a few other parameters and only adjusts slowly say if you start putting lower/higher octane fuel and could take a good few tank fulls to fully adjust but it will never return to max unless reset manually. There is loads of links on the subject. Remapping is different beast and must be done by someone who knows what they are doing otherwise bang she go.

.....I didnt offer to remap anyones car...as at the moment my knowledge is very basic.I only offered to reset their ECU, read troublecodes etc
Also correct me if I am wrong but to reset Newage cars they need to be connected to an OBD tool to have the ECU reset, isn't that true?

.....only offering assistance to whoever wants it as by going to a dealer or other similar they would charge you for the previlege.......but.....there you go....

Unfortunately you will have to go to a garage or dealer as the cable only works with cars that are OBD2 (97 onwards)
As for parts you can try down carpenters road in Sratford

I know, just that sometimes on this forum you just get shot down for no reason other than trying to help fellow members, I am sorry aswell if it seemed that I was having a pop at you.
