Second motor - advice needed
#1
I currently own a mint condition '95 WRX with low miles, it is my only car, along with regular foot to the floor blasts, I use it for a short daily commute and to go to the gym in, the gym is in a real rough area, I am considering buying a real cheap runaround <£300, to eliminate worries of leaving the scoob in undesirable locations and to give it a break from some of the short trips! I need something thats cheap to insure, cheap to run and wont mind too much being left outside over the winter - I dont care how it drives or what it looks like as long as its cheap and reliable - any ideas gratefully recieved!

I've got my self a VW polo for running around in, it's a 1990 and done 145000 mile on it's 1.0L engine and runs sweet as a nut, passed it mot no problem, the bodywork on VW is a lot more solid than a fiesta or nova. Just remember when you approch a rounderbout which car your driving!

Cheers guys, a polo is definetly on the short list - the first car i had use of after passing my test was a polo 1.3s coupe - i thought it was wicked LOL - but a hell of a lot less thirsty than the scoob!
