Default Was on the rollers

had my 93 WRX classic on the rollers Yesterday (Sunday) ran 187bhp at the wheels

roughly 225bhp at the flywheel just glad it gives me a ball park figure to start from now let the tuning begin.

will start with a full exhaust system first

Was that at Dastek? Their figures are truer too, not bloated like others.

Let the games begin!

Wink

That seems a bit of a low estimate at the fly.If you work on a 25% transmission loss for 187 at the wheels. More like 250 at the fly.
250 x 25% = 62.5. So 250 - 62.5 = 187.5.

Ok its only a rough guess.

just run my V3 type R on the dyno with exhaust/downpipe/filter/front mount intercooler and standard boost with e-manage. I have achieve 230hp at the wheels is this reasonable or did i get a major increase?

You do know we really dont loose 25%, right? Never worry about flywheel figures. A dyno operator can inflate them at will. Wheel HP/TQ is all that matters. 187 wheel on a stock WRX is great!
