Nah, I saw T11 WRX too.

And whoever you are, you were driving like a wuss

Over 200 quid for 7 x 20 minute sessions, they must be mad.

Cheers

I saw the car too and I am pretty sure I've seen it before at some SIDC event.

Mr. Holmes, do you have any idea?!

The cost was over £200 for each car as they had access to the Grand Prix circuit. Particularly funny bit was watching the in-car footage of the XJS being slotted nicely through Dingle Dell by an instructor, shame we didn't see the owners effort

I would pay over £200 if SIDC can persuade Brands to do the same for us next year, but I think they get a bit pricey when opening the full circuit.

Cheers

Pete Croney implied that it was about £17500 to hire the full circuit!

Get 90 scoobs & just under £200... but how much/many on track...

Puff,

£17500 is not alot to hire a circuit compared to that of say....The 'ring. (not GP circuit.)

Bow to your superior knowledge sir! It was only £6500 for the Indy & not being in the habit of renting circuits (just FUN TIME )...

Puff,

Not superior knowledge, just what I've been told. Sorry if I sounded a little off.

£6500 sounds alot better. While at the WheelTorque 'Ring event this year, one of the organisers was asked about an event at LeMan.

He had already enquired about this, the figure was something ludicrous per mile. The 'Ring cost enough.
I did hear the costs, but cannot remember. Sorry!

It was bloody good fun. I never once got tired of being overtaken. Porsche, Skyline, GT cars, Westies (JohnF, did you go?), Ferrari's etc.

One thing that did make me laugh - WRX driver and Evo VI driver, Hammer and Tongs all the time. Neither eeking an advantage over each other.

What did I hear them say in the pits - Those Caterhams can't half fly. It's amazing how they can catch and pass us! (or words to that affect.)
