Ive finally found the cause of my car misfiring/spluttering at high boost...ive been running an SB ecu from an early STI in my 95'wrx which i believe comes with a chip in the daughterboard as standard it used to boost to 1.1bar...if the boost was built up slowly it was fine ,changing plugs and coils made no difference so this morning i refitted the original Z4 ecu and it run perfect boosting to 0.9bar....so my question is was the SB ecu over boosting and detecting DET which was causing the splutter or isit a fooked ecu??
