Just thought I would bring to your attention a problem which I have experienced when using my plus points card at Shell Petrol Stations.

I will keep it very brief but its worth checking that your plus points are being added to your statement.

I have many many receipts & at the bottom of the receipt it shows how many points have been added to your card. However this doesn’t mean that they have been added.

I have found over 14 transactions in just over a month that haven’t been added & there are probably more !

Shell are looking into it & will be adding any I can find to my account but how many wont I be able to trace (no idea !)

Just thought I’d let you know in case the same has happened to you !

I had something very stange the other day, checked my statement on line and it says 1 litre of diesel!!!! I Haven't got a diesel car and I only ever fill up with V-power. So someone has messed up and put my transaction which is normally 45 litres down as one littre of diesel.

I'll start checking my statement a little more closely in future

ive never had any problems with plus points , got 21000 points ans still counting , really should cash them in soon

I have also noticed, that My total ius not being updated when I have been buy lots of fuel, oh and also when I say buy 38 liters it says on my account i had 40 liters

I had some 'credited' as diesel, but to be fair, Shell customer services reallocated them correctly when informed.

spend about £120 a week on fuel, always thought that if the points are on the receipt, then they have been credited. Think i need to read my statements a bit more carefully. Nice to know there could be some barsteward of a petrol pump attendant flying first class round the world on my airmiles
