I washed my car today and gave it a coat of P21S and on the way back from a friends, I stopped at the local Safeway. I park the car at the back of the car park as usual and on the way to the shop I was approached by this little old lady.
She comes over and tells me that it's a pain having to park a new car so far from the shop because of risk of door dings and stuff. It blew me away, as she was exactly the sort of person that I would blame for such door chips. She's parked her car(a shiny silver daewoo wagon) even further from the shop than me and she couldn't exactly be called sprightly!
So hats off to her, there's still people out there that care about their cars and respect each others cars.

This is proof that there are some caring old codgers out there. The percentage rate is anyones guess. Maybe her husbands got a Spec C and gave her strict instructions to park well away from the dingers.
Anyway hats off to the lady, she knows the score with these numpties.
Why can`t everybody have this outlook
Even when I`m in the other car, I take utmost care in opening of the door because I don`t want to ruin someones pride and joy. Which they have worked hard for.

i rember a few weeks ago i was chatting to a mate in a hotel car park this bloke had pulled up in a new GT4 Celica, afterwards all these OAPS came out of a confernce in the hotel, before the guy to return to his car both sides had been dinged by the old buggers - i saw it myself they justgot into their cars which were either side of the Celica and just rammed their doors against it -

we were ooooo for f**k s*ke, probs should of had a word with them but they just slammed their doors as casually as you would flush a toilet!
