welcome to scoobynet GIBEY D Excellent choice of car and a nice leap in performance from the screaming banshee that is the ctr
You're quite right with the 265bhp or thereabouts on a standard sti, and ppp adds a few more horses to make around 305bhp and 300lbft torque. However, before you go off and give prodrive/subaru your hard earned cash for that particular path of upgrade, consider carefully the options available to you for similar/lower prices.
With an ecutek 3 remap, panel filter, sports cat downpipe, 3" exhaust (milltek), and the uprated fuel pump from a previous ppp on my own car, I've ended up with a rolling road figure of 350bhp/349lbft ! Which is nice
Have a good read on here in the projects section, and do a search specific to your model of car: my04 sti, and see what comes up.
In the meantime, get out and enjoy it while petrol is still less than £1 litre!
Oh, and one final point: there's no "t" in Impreza

disclaimer: I am in no way technically minded, and you'd be better waiting for someone else who knows what they're talking about with pumps and power ratings to give you a proper answer!
