The mechanic i use in Northampton absolutely swears by EBC disks and pads, as being the best price performance combo. It's also very helpful that EBC is based in Northampton as well...

He's just fitted me Red Stuff pads, drilled and grooved EBC disks, they're only a few 100 miles run in so far, but even so damm they stop ya well for standard 2 pots.

I have noticed a fair amount of dirt on the wheels, however i'm not sure if that was already there ??? Will know more after it's weekly weekend clean tho about the amount of dust they give off

EBC for those who can;t quite stretch to the Ferodo's

Personally, I found ebc red stuffs pads, combined with ebc discs to be very poor.
Crap when cold, they take far to long to warm up for a road pad, and only last 6000 miles!
Swapped back to standard items and wondered why I ever bothered with ebc.

That was on my old sti 4.

Currently, on my MY99 UK Turbo, I am running factory discs and Pagid Blue - RS4-2 pads. Expensive at £130 for a set of pads, but they are fantastic!
Excellent feel, strong bite from cold and no fade.

Hope this helps.

Greenstuff are not recommended for Scoob's at all.

Defo on the Pagid's or Ferodo's from Alyn

Greens are ok but get worn very quickly on a Scoob.
Ceramic reds are fine for me combined with Godspeed disks
