Default J Tuner to stop

I did post this on the end of another J Tuner Thread but without response

But yes this magazine is to produce 2 more editions then close

There is a petition http://www.petitiononline.com/jtuner/petition.html

But I guess what they want is commitment to subscriptions

Be a shame to lose a 2nd Magazine this year

I agree with the sentiments & would be disapointed to see the magazine closed - I've bought it since issue 1 - but I doubt any petition, however well intended, will have any influence on the outcome. Future Publishing would have carried out sufficient review of the monthly sales figures & most likely found them lower than required to continue with the publication.

The only "petition" worth "signing" is the one by which you actually buy the magazine - if they see an upturn in sales then they might reconsider......

It is a shame becuase its the only mag out of the three that independantly tested different owners club cars and their privately funded cars every single month. We read all about tuners and really high spec cars, drag 1/4 miles times, their quoted bhp figures etc, but nothing beats seeing different levels of a tuned model thrash it out each month, on an airfield doing 0-100's thats comparable to new cars tested in mainsteam magazines.

It was the best out of all three, and maybe it was down to promotion and distribution that was its fall in the end. Jap Performance Mag comes a close second, but Banzai is a complete waste of a read, poorly written, and it concerntrates too much on cars abroad, instead of the jap scene in this country.

Yes sorry to confim that my report from NBO won't be featured (shame I got some nice shots from up the crane - despite the crap weather!) - there will not be any more issues of JT. Had my offical letter from the editor and publisher yesterday.

I will make sure that all the companys links are removed from the nbo website I personally have been waiting for the feature,as has many of the NBO attendes(sp). Most mags usually put events in there mag, maybe a month after the event, why was there such a delay in articles?

Sorry for the rant, but maybe you can put this to the Editor/founder for me.

It's a bit late now - the editor has left the building......and you certainly aren't the only one who had a feature that were done and never published.
