what Oil?
which engine oil do i need to use for a subaru imperza uk 2000 turbo model 1998 R plate, and also for the gearbox?
Do i just top up the anti-freeze with normall anti-freeze aswell?
sorry stupid questions for a new owner of a uk model

I have a MY99 UK turbo.
I use Mobil 1 motorsport 15w50 engine oil and castrol syntrax in the gearbox and rear diff.
As for the antifreeze, yes, any antifreeze should be ok.

5-40 Motul 300V would be my first choice.
Gearbox, Castrol.

in my 95 wrx i use 10w40, only halfords brand for a quick top up until a oil change at a service. if that helps...

The trick is , buy an old car, don't bother servicing it and sell it after a year.
Just pray it doesn't blow up !!
Or, use fully synthetic 5w40, such as Silkolene or Motul.
