Default Hi there

Folks,
I joined the forum some time ago, while I had just the basic Impreza and have not posted for some time.

I thought it a good idea to re-introduce myself since I now have a 2002 WRX STi(UK) Prodrive and live in Hull, East Yorks. I will know doubt be using the forum a lot more now. In fact I already have a question!

How do you know when to use the intercooler water spray button? I was told it is for cooling the turbo during extended use - is this correct?

Rgds

It is for spraying the intercooler with cold water. This helps keeps charge temps down, reducing detonation and allowing the car to run at its full potential.
There should be an 'auto' setting next to the spray switch.

Welcome again!
