I think you have the 'Blobeye' then... like me
In my opinion its the best one to have, the 2.5 is too lazy and feels more like a softer (probably more bearable long distance) day to day car... hence why i choose a 2006 MY05 > 2006 MY06.
Spec C = JDM STi +
Twin-Scroll Ball Bearing Turbo
Equal Length Manifold
spec C Engine Oil Cooler
spec C Anti-Surge Fuel Pump
spec C Water Pump
Front and Rear Strut Braces
Underbody Aero Package
12 Litre Intercooler Water Spray
Lightweight Aluminium Bonnet
Lightweight Aluminium Bootlid
Lightweight Glass
Lightweight Fuel Tank
Roof Vent
Spec C Type RA = as above, but with adjustable STi suspension, upgraded rollbars and some cosmetic mods inside and out.
Edit: Have fun with it mate, i picked mine up in June and already have almost 5k on the clock... its awesome!!

Ye, yours will have a DCCD-A, which will automatically move the power around the centre diff through reports coming out of the g-sensor, steering position, throttle position etc...
Leave it in Auto mode, and push the car hard in a corner and you will feel the car try to understeer... put more power in and you will find the car will tuck the nose back in (unlike the early newage imprezas which would just understeer harder)

marmski, how's yours on oil and petrol?

Ye, have a play... i notice it feels nicer and more relaxed if you just wanna chill in manual mode with the power to the rear.
Oil its fine on, i regularly check it and it hasnt moved yet and is pretty much as clean as it was when it went in.
Petrol depends on how i drive it... its doing better now than it did when it was brand new, getting 30MPG on a long drive or 16 if i really really push hard.
Have you had your first service yet? (1000 miles?)

it's has 6k on it already, it was an ex-demo model used by neville matthew's, MD of subaru ireland, so i am reliably informed it is a well looked after example..
fingers crossed anyway
