Default boost guage electricals!!!

bought a boost gauge from scoobyworld and just getting round to fitting it, now i need to find two electrical connections so the back is lit so i can see the damn thing!

anyone know which wires i could poss use and there locations under the dash??

Or just pick up on a 12v switched feed from the ignition, its only 2ft from where a boost gauge is fitted so no long wires to get tangled

behind head unit as it has everything you need from there i.e ignition, power, earth, side lights etc

ok wiring went fine, my only worry now is that the gauge is reading negative boost value!!!

what did i do? cos i not brite prob put it on backwards!!

anyone?

thats called Vacuum. If your gauge is suppossed to read vacuum then that normal.

thats normal as it should be around -0.5 to 0.7 at idle etc

ok so -0.75bar boost (vacuum) is normal? didnt think it would b that bigga vacuum.

ok so on a TD04 turbo what sorta revs am i looking at for the boost to go positive?

not sure on TD04 as mine is VF35 but about 2.5 to 3.5 but haven't really paid that much attention to that
