brake light bulb out on 04wrx spoiler
i have noticed that a section of my centre brake light mounted on spoiler is not working. It is a standard 04wrx spoiler/light.
Can you just change the bulbs, if so how, or do you have to replace the whole unit?
The car is still under warranty so do you think the dealer would do it for free or will they just say thats just wear and tear?

i know its not much help but here goes...
on my first scoob, was a sport, i replaced the low level spoiler with a genuine sti mid level one (sti v4 i think?)... i had it sprayed white to match the car and had it fitted by a gentleman who knows his wires etc, light didnt work. contacted subaru in horncastle, and they required the vin no. of the car the spoiler was off. this was obviously out the question... had to make do with no working light... but then i found out 2 days after writing off the scoob the part no. off another gentleman (subaru technician) who found out from piccies and general know how, and it was £150+vat for a new brake light unit!!! it didnt really matter then, but sod that when i only paid £50 for the spoiler lol. id get in touch with subaru personally and if they wont fix it under warranty, get a mate whos handy with a soldering gun and change the l.e.d.'s yourself... if they are l.e.d. and not a bulb...
all the best anyway mate
