Go for a VF34 or 35 turbo, 550cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump and a remap. This will give you a good power gain with out going O.T.T and killing clutches and gear boxes.
Ive got a my2000 impreza turbo (uk), and a bit of money burning a whole in my pocket. Ive currently got the following mods, h&s decat downpipe, decat center pipe with prodrive backbox, sti intercooler with samco hoses, sti panel filter, and an ecutek remap.
Im after a bit more power, without getting too silly and adding to much stress to the engine gearbox etc.
What mods should i purchase/carry out next?
Obviously it will need to be remapped to suit the mods as well, but i hear its cheaper if you already have the licence?
Id be looking at the chassis and the brakes! Nothing will give a car more point-to-point speed.
