Hi Rich, will enquire more about the gearbox as I think mine won't be lasting too long...
I went for this: https://www.scoobynet.com/much-power...d-t540225.html
Running 334BHP with around 300ftlbs torque... when I'm used to the power and clutch, I'll upgrade the turbo so should be near the 380-400 mark then...

Performance wise if you mods take it over the 350 Lbs Torque and don't do Track or sprint work you'd maybe better of sticking with a 5speed box (Athough the 6sp is supposed to be stronger)
Slighty longer gearing can be useful when following traffic or in long open corners, saving a gearchange during manouver. IMHO
Maybe weigh up pro's and con's first.
Sorry back on Topic is the Propshaft different lenght?

The reason I ask the initial question is, I think my gearbox is on its way out, and I was wondering what the best options are of upgrading it so it will be able to take upto 360 or 380 ftlbs of torque...

TBH I found with a Classic 400lbs a 6sp in maybe a bit to "Manic" through the low gears changes and felt it didn't fully utilise the engines high torque, But certainly was fun
