HKS filter Help Rain problem
Hi
had my 1997 wrx sti a week now and runs fine, but the last few days we had some rain in the night, got up started the car and it ran like s..t for the first 5 mile, then ran ok. now looking from the front of my car the left hand bonnet vent (over the said filter) had no gard thus lets the rain or water run direct on to the filter, i have proven to myself (put a bin bag over the filter last night while it was raining) that this is the cause of ruff running when it rains, my question is should there be a gard under that vent to, as mine has none, great for cold air but s..t in the rain, i have made a temp stainless steel cover this morning at work that will cover the part of the fillter that is getting wet , has anyone else had this problem,
Mick
