Default max wheel width, help.....

I have an STI02, and I want to fit some 18s, I would like 18 by 8.5 or 18 by 9 with 245-35-18 tires, would they fit?Anyone has them?

Basically, No.

225 is the widest section tyre you can use on your car. Only the MY05 & 06 cars can wear 235 section tyres.

Info came from Prodrive.

I have a 05 STi, and am wearing 225 section tyres. Why? Because Subaru didn't update there website in time. Changing tyres in a month or so. buying 235 section wide tyres.

thank you, that means that I will get 18 by 8 , which offset do I need?

I have to ask why you are changing? If you dont understand what youre doing; itd better not to alter anything until you do.

I have 235-40-18 on my 03 blobeye STI, On original Prodrive PFF7s with 51 offset, No rubbing has accured.
