Default WRX Electronic folding wing mirrors........

I Need the motor that does it, stripped it all down and found mine is shorting out, knackered motor, here it is

Crap photo i know, but if you know what it is,you get the idea, maplins do them, but only upto 3v, these are 12v as we all know, anyone know where i can get 1, the motor is not round, it has flat sides so is more square than anything, sits at the top of the gearing inside the wing mirror

cheers......

Only pansies need folding mirrors!!

Try RS Components .... as an example:-

Wink

Sorry Pete . . But have to agree with you . . .Folding mirrors are essentially a bi-product of capitalism, and only footballers wifes use them!

Wish i was a footballers WIFE

Tried that place, cant find anything similair, it has to be exact,as it has a containment etc so acant be a bit bigger/smaller etc.

i used to see these loads when i were ta lad, similair to radio controlled motors but alot smaller.they must be available somewhere.........

I guess you have already done a google search on 12V DC Motors?

Or googled the reference number on the casing?
