Default Theiving bar stewards..

Woke up this morning and look what I spotted outside

Gutted to say the least.

If anyone gets offered a UK300 bunny ear spoiler that is missing the bolts and has half the connection to the brake light is cut off give me a shout PC plumb on his way now.

The car is in Mid norfolk if your local.

Nick

You'd be better off telling your pet dog / cat than the Police, they'll only be interested if than book you for something and hence make a profit from you .
Hope you find out who did this, get them 'modified' just before Xmas and give them one to remember

Probably end up on a fiat punto I bet. Worth more than the car

Going to stick my WRX one back on for now until I can get a garage but then it still won't be safe.

I was in a good mood this morning until i read this post.

This really does p1ss me off.

Just way too much of this happening now.

Seriously look at getting cctv.

I've watched back many hours of hard drive space to see many different people looking over the car (STi Type RA Classic) and it's quite scary to think that these people could be the next to drive your motor.

Sorry to hear this mate. Nothing is safe these days.

CCTV is on the up in households due to little w*nkers thinking they can take items that are not these.

Good luck mate.

Sorry to see and hear mate.

I've had the same done to a previous STI of mine. Luckily the thick thieves couldn't get it off and only managed to set the alarm off and run!!

Thanks folks... Misses is now nervous that they'll comeback for more as they've so far got away with it.

Neighbour claims it was around 4am as she was putting the cat out and heard something going on but wasn't awake. Probably a good thing who knows what they would do.

The policeman and I think it was stolen to order or someone knows one thats wanted as we live in a quiet area and you would have to come looking for it or followed me home.

It really annoys me people work hard to get nice things and these people just go out and do things like that.

I know its no help now, but at least the car as still there. Its such a PITA to sort these things out too.

The problem with CCTV is it's really only any good if the plod knows of the yobs in action.

Slightly different topic but recently a mates wife’s shop got broken into, the scum were recorded as plain as day on CCTV but the plod couldn't do anything about it because they didn't know who/how to track them down.

The copper who turned up said it's really only any good if the scum are caught at the time and get nicked or if they are already known to the police, then the CCTV is useful for evidence!

Back to topic though, that’s a bitch, would really **** me off if that happened to my car. Hope you get it sorted soon!

Had a look at CCTV prices and to get anything half decent you need to spend what I've just lost so not worth it.

No Idea .. They have bent the corners up when they pushed it forward but its not much damage which was a shock.

Well car still here but backed up to the misses now. House goes on the market in a few weeks time for a garage I think.

Anyone know how to stick the anti hijack on? Someone has mentioned this before but I can't see how you set it.

I would personally ask a friend before you install added security. As you don`t know who`s watching
Rather than publically.
Just my thoughts.

Unlucky mate I was told by some kids on the way to school the other day that some **** in their year has been trying to steal my fog light covers. took it with a pinch of salt until I realised that they have chewed up the screw using the wrong screw driver.

Hanging is too good for this type or reprobate!

Why can't everyone get jobs, work hard and appreciate what they, and others have achieved, not just go out and steal it?!?!?

Looks like they are doing their best as far as I can see, local bobby plus a visit from CID sounds fair enough to me.

Yes looks like it. Still can't beleive it. Must have been at least two and whether they snapped it in the process I'm not sure.

STi owners should be ok as they have a few more pairs of bolts.

I have no problems with the police, however I probably have more contacts for this kind of thing than them but 10/10 for effort so far.
