Default 17's or 18's

on my type r at the moment I've got bronze 18" Ultralite Atec rims with P-zero tyres, which are rubbing on the arches, butI've also got a set of 17" prodrive pff7's with goodyear F1's on my old car, which I could swop over before I sell it,now I think it will handle better with the 17's but what would you do?.
cheers

17's will handle better, so it depends if you want the looks, or handling, on the car that you are keeping. I assume the suspension's standard on the car with 18's? If tyres are becoming worn maybe replace with lower profile to ease the rubbing?

The suspension is the full powerstation setup,AST's,droplinks, front and rear ARB's geometry, etc,As you said the 18's look good but I think I prefer the 17's.as for putting lower profiles on the 18's I could only fit black elastic bands to go any lower

No difference to your average driver between 17's and 18's IMO

i have 17s rota on my type r and its the best handling car i have ever had. Had 18s on 2 p1s and 2 evos and the type r is right up there with the best. Not sure if i would go with 18s again - although they undoubtably look better.
