25% better mpg with V-power?
Have noticed the mpg going up in my 03STIPPP over the last 3 fill ups on the new V-power! Today after filling up I worked out 25.3 Mpg, Mixed driving but no different to before, That is 25% better than with optimax!
Just hoping the next tank full is even better.
Anyone else seen a difference?

25% better mpg sounds way too much of an improvement to be down to the fuel change alone!
I'm finding I am getting somewhere just over 5% better economy on V-power - the main improvement I've noticed is that it's running more smoothly, particuarly when coming on boost.

So has there been a price rise with the roll out of V - power? How does it compare to Tesco 99 RON.
Will it tempt me away from Sainsburys SUL with 5p a litre discount at the moment?

Well, I had my car out caining it over the Pennines yesterday. Filled up tonight and got 19mpg. Not bad considering the amount of time it was on full throttle, or near the red line
Will have to have a `NORMAL` weeks driving to see if V-Power improves my MPG. I seriously doubt it will/would be 25% though

I noticed a considerable improvement in my mpg a few weeks ago before V-Power was officially launched. I suspected my local station may have changed to V-Power a few weeks ago as the car just seemed to feel slightly quicker

My standard Classic T2000 UK spec is only getting 25mpg on V-Power and on Optimax and Tesco's 99 was between 22-24mpg. Looking at some of the other modified Classic owners mpg figures has got me wondering why my mpg is lower. Not too bothered but wondering what I can do to increase it apart from take it easier as I do most of the time anyway.

I'm at 276 miles in my Type-r so far, which is about 30 miles better than I'd expect, although I won't know for sure until I see how much goes in tomorrow.
That's with the same dose of NF as normal.
I can't imagine that will always be the case though, it seems ridiculously good. It will probably even out once the ECU gets used to it.

V-Power is definately better for fuel economy, i have an 06 (Blob shape) STi and noticing about 80 miles per quarter of a tank (was 60max on Optimax) with my style of driving.

Looks Good So Far
Not 100% certain as yet....
Filled to the brim on V Power last Satruday whilst doing a warm up for an oil change. Gauge is indicating 3/4 full after a week of trips to work and back plus one or two runs.....
My initial impression is of significant improvement in economy but time will tell.
Power wise no noticeable change

We've been having this discussion on our own Smacs forum and we have coem to the conclusion - definitely more MPG, runs smoother and in some cases more performance.

Although mine is not 'officially' V-power stuff I doo seem to have got more miles than I usually do out of a quarter tank.
Lets see what I can get out o fthe full tank but early signs look good for moer mpg
