Default brembo gold

Thinking of getting a set of brembo gold's off a crashed my02 sti,and putting them on my99 type r.
can anyone tell me will this give me a better brake.

I have a set of STi 7 Brembos on my MY00 and they are feckin awsome.

The car actually stops now

yep I am more than happy with them, they are designed to work on amuch heavier car so on a classic they are even better. I know people that use pagid pads etc and they squeal like a biatch so I am more than happy with the standard disks and pads.

You will have to change your wheels after fitting them?

I had OZ Supertourismos on mine ET48 and needed 15mm spacers to clear the calipers, I fitted the STi7 ET53 wheels and they fit perfectly over the calipers and as the original 99/00 wheels where ET 53 anyway these are a good compromise.

sorry mate no idea, do they bow out from the hub like the STi wheels?
