Revving it like that wont help either. Sounds like a few dead pistons to me. Something i've experienced on more than one occation

compelete engine swap with low mileage 40k inc 3 months unlimited mileage warenty £1200 fitted.

i dont think thats a bad price....

oh and ywah.....its foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooked

LOL!

unless anybody know where there is another good wrx engine for less than £1500 fully fitted!

FEEEJIT!!! Turn it off before it wrecks the rest of the engine and throws the rod out the block.

Unless you want to replace what potentially is a reusable block, heads, valves and at least 3 good rods and 4 good pistons

I would not put my hand on the throttle - as guess where the conrods usually pops out when it does break

yeah and my slot for the engine fitting has just been put back 5-6 weeks... can anybody fit a engine for me!!!

ofcourse i will pay the going rate!

You may still be able to re-salvage the engine it sounds like its only down one cylinder. Revving it will only make it worse or throw a rod through your arm

I remember the fatefull night mine sounded like that. £2500 later and a new engine from API, and it was all sorted!!!
