Question buying another scooby :-)

hi all,

I have been to look at this car today...

http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD...a?id=362800693

http://pictures.autotrader.co.uk/ATD...a?id=362800700

...and it looks v nice indeed! Does anyone recognise the car and can they tell me anything about it?? It has a non standard exhaust (not sure if its just the rear box or full de-cat) and a boost gauge.

The dealership knows little about it and there are no receipts for the mods. I am trying to find out to what extent the car has been moded.

Also, if I were to find out that it has a full de-cat, does anyone know what it might cost to put this back to normal for an MOT if the original CAT were not available??

Any info would be very helpful

Thanks all.

Cheers for the response - No underside pics tho unfortunately.

I know the wheels and exhaust are non standard - unfortunately I do not know what I am looking at well enough to tell if it is just the rear section or the full system including de-cat. This is my main concern because of the MOT.

The prodrive wheels also made me think it may have a 'ppp' but the dealer hasn't got a certificate for it and had never heard of ppp . !!

Any other tell tale signs I should be looking for re obvious mods??

if you tell him you want full MOT on it then he'll have to make sure it's got at least 1 cat (can't remember if it the front or 2nd it needs to pass)
