cage behind stereo..???

Default cage behind stereo..???

I just bought a bugeye sti and the stereo was a bit loose, when I went to take it out the stereo cage wasn't connected to anything, their are a few screw holes their for something..???
any ideas.?

The double din stereo has brackets attached to it so you can secure it into the space with screws, is the double din stereo the part you are talking about?

It has a black tray thing and the stereo below it, when I took the front face off with the heater controls the tray and stereo were just loose in their..???

Sounds like its an aftermarket stereo. If its the same as my Blob Eye you should have 2 brackets (1 either side) that were screwed onto the original stereo and then screwed into the dash behind the heater panel you have taken off. They brackets should therefore be screwed into your aftermarket stereo and pocket (black tray) then into the dash. If I remember right they are 6 screws for the dash mounting. Hope this makes sense.

thanks, by the look of it, I haven't got the fixing brackets.
I'll have to order some.
