Default Buying an STI Type RA V-Limited what to look for

I'm going to look at another Scooby.
This time an STI RA V-Limited (96 plate).

Any advice on what to look out for would be great.

Any tests I can do also. It has a boost gauge and I'm told it's standard. What bar/psi should one be running if standard?

Thanks in advance

Always check it has all its wheels.

Every time someone asks this on here I give them the same answer:

With the greatest of respect, unless you're a mechanic with experience of Subaru's YOU do NOTHING apart from the initial look over to see if the car and paperwork seems in order and you like what you see.

Then...

Get it PROFESSIONALLY inspected including a compression check.

The tyre kicking approach is asking for trouble with these cars!
