apexi avcr need help

can anyone help as i have unstable and over boost and don't know how to sort it out, the manual on the apexi tells you to set the feedback and it goes from1 to 9 but which way, can any one help please

1 is least sensitive, 9 is most sensitive.

you can also reduce the duty which will help to reduce overboost
