spark plugs, where do they go!
ok getting a few jobs done today, had my car (my93) for a while time to change the oil....job done....filter etc... all done...
ok now i have a set of spark plugs, looking at the engine and can not see where they go
ok i am not very good when it comes to cars, but on all my cars i have always change the oil, filter, and plugs (cus i like to know the good stuff is going in) but on the wrx i really (and dont take the pee) dont know where to put the plugs (no remarks)
this is not a joke i am standing looking at my engine pull all sorts out!

If you look about halfway down on the sides of the block you will see them, they have coil packs on and you will see a wire coming off each one
Ive only ever had to change coil packs on the passenger side and removing the washer bottle was easy enough access wise.

Not familiar with the concept and shape of a flat four engine?
Look what google found:
2 on left hand side 2 on right hand side, yes, way down there.
If it's got individual coil packs, don't twist or bend them trying to remove or re-insert them. There is ceramic insulation inside and they do crack under stress causing missfires under load. Plus they aren't cheap
Remove airbox on one side for better acess, get a child to do the other side.
A good flexy u-j, some extension bars of varios length and a good rubber insert in your spark plug socket is a must (remove rubber insert when replacing plugs, as the plug socket will probably get stuck on the plug when you remove it).
