I've used that method for running in a 2 stroke motocross bike engine 20 years ago so it's nothing new. Would be interesting to hear what scooby engine builders have to say about it.

Your not the first to have the gearbox out with noises
my mates had his 06STi gearbox done, all bearing replaced and still clunks/grinds now¨
Hope this doesn,t become a MY02 suspension knock type tread

Gears felt perfect, it was only when the engineers listened intently that they found the gearox was the problem

1) except numerous possible repairs
2) Insist on a replacement Gearbox
3) Reject the Car as a lemon. see C A B
