Default Window rattle....

My passenegr window is loose in it's runnings, I think, as it rattles when it's open........ Is this likely to be a warranty issue, please? I was told by the dealer that only the electrics are covered by warranty.........

Technically I suppose the dealer is right but most I've had dealings with would probably offer to do the work for free as part of their goodwill package. Go for the sympathy vote - it might work with your dealer?

which part is loose? i know there was a thing with the window regulator unit where the mountings for it on the inner door skin came loose, and rattled. If it is this part, get it fixed asap, as with the window going up and down, the regulator twists at the metal and can damage the door.

If the car is under warranty, any decent dealer should sort that free of charge.
