engine jerking
Please can you guys help me, I've recently taken my Impreza turbo 1998 off the road to change the plugs, cam belt and fit a front mount intercooler. Before taking the car off road I was experiencing problems with the engine. When I was cruising @ 70mph and wanted to overtake something it would start to jerk as if it was not getting enough fuel. Since putting it back on the road I'm still experiencing the same problem. If i apply fuel gradually it's ok to some extent, but when I boot it I get the same problems. It seems ok up to about 4k REVS. Can anyone suggest what this might be and what is the answer to this problem? Thanks to you guys for this!!!!!!!!! My hat is off for you!

Have you over filled with oil? This gets in to a solenoid (can't remember the exact name - someone will). I had this problem in my first MY98 a few years back and had the same symptoms.
