Default buying advice

hi all,
like to say hello i've just registered with the club.
thinking of buying impreza type ra i currently own rx7 and fancy a change
could anyone explain what sets a tommy kaira wrx ra apart from other ra impreza's.
also the add states the ecu is tommy kaira can that be mapped here, if so any advantage over standard ecu.the car is a 1995 model
any info appreciated and looking forward to hopefully finding a nice impreza
one other question is the sti ra a better bet to buy over the wrx
sorry for long winded questions
thanks bob

Helpful lot aren't we!

I don't really know too much about these specials, but it may hold a premium as it's 'rare'. You may find that it has a different front and rear bumper and a higher wing. Mechanically, I would guess that the engine may have been blueprinted, or maybe even stroked to 2.2 (I know of one of these), the ecu probably has a 'better' map - but may only be suitable for Jap fuel.

Sorry I can't be of much help.
