thought I would say howdo! my name is Adrian and I am an alcoholic...er sorry wrong forum. I have just got my hands on a 94 Legacy twin turbo wagon. changed the Rad and Airflow meter already and things were going great until.........accelerating gently up a hill in 5th gear engine starts to hesitate.....managment light illuminates and second turbo won't come on boost. When accelerating it gets to 4.5K and accceleration cuts out then resumes, but won't go abouve 4.5K unless over a very long period of time (doesn't seem like 2nd turbo is doing anything due to lack of exhaust noise) cycling the ignition resets light and things were ok.....for a while, noe when second turbo comeson boost it sounds like it's full of cuttlery???????

Error codes displayed are 23,24 and the dreaded 66 of doom!!!

I think the 23 might just be cus I havnt reset the codes but not sure.

Any ideas before it gets a litre of unleaded over the engine? (joke BTW)

Sorry, can't help with your engine woes It sounds bad though, so maybe you may be better just getting it in to a decent garage quick.

the codes have been reset now (I think) but the managment light is now blinking on and off? The spedo has been changed recently for a cable driven one, just wondering if the ECU is expecting a speed sense and this is why it's going ito limp home mode. BTW the car started off with an auto box and this has been changed for an STI manual one, still think there are a few issues to be addressed by the looks of things, will let you know if things improve though.
