An emergency flare. You can use it to do this...

or this...

Standard equipment in Jap market cars as they have a law which states you must carry one and deploy it in the event of an accident or breakdown. In the UK however they're just loads of pyrotechnic fun

Last oil change as already stated; can be in the engine bay but usually stuck to the dash side in the door shut. Stickers on or about your cambelt cover relate to belt changes.

The pics aren't mine. We have some budding David Bailey's in the WYIOC and this is the latest fruits of their labour.

Where can I get me a flare?! I noticed that little C shaped holder the other day, but no flare :-(

I thought it was to hold part of the jack or the wheel nut bolt!

It helps when you understand Japanese dates... 14 indicates 2002.

1993 cars are still commonly available at auction in Japan; I wouldnt import one unless it was particularly clean though. Im aware of a 1993 with 7,500 miles thats just been imported; its like new, so decent cars still exist.

yep this one was like new, i paid i bit much i think (£4500) but it was well worth having a car which was standard and very well looked after. inside and out the car is like new, the guy who imported it was over there when he spotted it, so you could say it was hand picked. i can not find one mark on the paint work at all.
