How much is a Scooby S11?
after watching the Rally of Ireland on TV over the weekend, two of the privateer's (sp) were running S11's. it got me wondering, instead of people modifying their standard road cars, would it be cheaper to just go out and buy a S11 instead?

Could be more depending on the spares package you want.
There is a lot of WRC cars in Ireland, mostly Imprezas and most of them are privately owned. When the world rally championship come to Ireland the big boys had better watch out for the local talent

Although I wouldnt think many of us have mechanics on-hand for the turbo/engine rebuilds that competition spec cars receive in their lifetime.

You can't compare a N11 to a S11 car, completely different animal. N11 is basically a road car with a cage and a few other modifications, the S11 engine barely looks like a scoob engine, has a fmic, runs at about 5bar boost pressure and has around 900nm of torque!!
