Typical
Drove 600 miles over a long weekend - Not a single issue, windscreen chip etc..
Popped round the mother-in-laws last night and hit a pigeon
Bl**dy thing jumped in front of the car then tried to fly off just as I was about to drive over it!!
Fortunately it hit my number plate (breaking it in the process - Nice) and didn't go straight into the radiator.
My entire engine bay and most of the radiator was covered in feathers - Took 20 minutes to clear out...
Not impressed

Kamakazee wood pigeons are all over the place at the mo.
I nearly hit one yesturday that flew out of a hedge, luckily it gained enough height to bee caught in the undraft of the bonnet/windscreen and missed the scoop by a hair breath.
Mashed one last year in the front grill - feathers everywhere!
One got squashed outside my house the other day because it forgot it had wings, or thought it was a car and literally walked under the tyre of a mother on a mission (yes the ones that blurt out and preach speed kills my children...but do 45mph on a narrow 30mph residential road on the school run ).
Stupid things! Still it's good population control - too many of the flying rats about as it is.
