Typical!

I registered for ADSL about a year ago but couldn't convert from Home Highway without downgrading first.

Now I find out that BT have been doing HH conversions since May! Nice of them to tell me!

Install on 19th October-can't wait

Thanks Barry.

Looks like I may be lucky though:

When I ordered I got:

Good news! Since you have registered as part of our 'Big Offer' last year, you are entitled to save a minimum of £249 on the normal costs of upgrading from ISDN to BTopenworld broadband. We will pay:
• the normal BTopenworld broadband installation charge (saving you around £150*)
• any remaining term of your ISDN contract (for contracts taken before 26th April 2000)
• the normal ISDN to standard BT phone line conversion charge - normally £99*
These savings only apply to the 'Big Offer' products (home 500 or business 500).

Whether I have to pay another £49.50 is a mystery to me.

So when are you getting your ADSL Barry?

Kevin.
