Question WIRING PROBLEM PLEASE HELP :)

I have just got a boost gauge and thought it would be a good day to fit it.Well it all went well until i went to connect up the three wires RED LIVE 12v BLACK GROUND AND A YELLOW which shows going to the lighting circuit.
When droped the dash off i was confronted with a mass of wires.
Where is the best place to wire in the boost gauge as it all looked a bit scary.Any advice would be great. The car is a 2004 wrx.

No idea m8.
I take it that it is a mechanical boost gauge and not a electronic boost gauge?

I would think the red and black make it work and the yellow wire is a live feed to make it light up at night. Try wiring it from the wires going to your foglight switch is easiest way as has all these leads. Alternately wires to cigarette lighter or radio is good using scotchlock connectors.

the yellow goes to the ignithon red to battery + by the sounds of it you have a colour changing light if you want you can put both yellow and red together it just means it wont hold its last setting when you restart the car
