Default PPP on NUL ?

Nearly got caught out for the first time yesterday on the way back from Cornwall, couldn’t find any SUL on the M4 (what's that all about ?)

Eventually Shell in Windsor came to the rescue after a lot of running around and panicking.

So what's the score, assuming I took it gently would I have been OK putting NUL in a 03 WRX PPP, as a get you home last resort.

Yes, it would be fine. The certificate you get with the PPP actual says SUL is 'recommened' for best performance, NUL will just lose a bit of power. You could run it on NUL all the time and give it full 'beans' if you want, the engine won't blow up .
