Default New Scooby

Hello everyone this is my first post, Im now the proud owner of a 95 Sooby 2.0 turbo wagon. The box is knackered though, Im going to get stuck in about it tomorrow but I was just wondering how long it will take to get the box out. Im quite handy with the spanners. Im going to fit a new clutch aswell, Does anyone have any suggestions on one apart from a paddle.

Thankyou for the warm welcome everyone, Fieldy I too lost a bit scrapping.

I called my local Subaru dealer and they are saying for a complete set of box bearings including the needle roller ones its £500 and for just the 3 main bearings its £300. Does this sound right or can anyone suggest anywhere else to get them possibly uprated and also any suggestions on a clutch, itll need to be able to handle some extra power because I will be modding at some point. At the moment engine wise its got a filter and a full stainless and thats all I know about so far.

I now have the box out and stripped, Its absolutely shagged. The main shaft pinion is scrap and the centre diff pin is mangled and insted of being a 12mm hole in the diff its now an elongated 30 mm hole. So I need a new box, anyone know of a good one I could have?
