I'm about to buy rear view mirrors to a group of Impreza owners in my club but before I do that I need to know how many cables they should have - three or four. I checked my MY00 yesterday and found four cables so I guess all "old age" have the same amount. A MY04 said he needed mirrors with three cables since the fourth on his car was for the defrost (which does not exist in the custom made mirrors). I guess that if MY04 has three cables to control the mirror MY03 needs the same amount.

Does anyone know how many cables are needed on MY01-02 to control the mirrors?

Also, please tell me if I'm way off in my assumptions about -MY00 and MY03-MY06.
