I have a standard 2002 WRX 5 door. Spoke to local dealer about the WRX Performance Pack and he virtually recommended against it saying that on the earlier models it doesn't really make much difference to performance - certainly not for the cost involved (£1600)

I live in Cornwall and would like to have it sensibly tuned - up power/torque by 25% or so - something that I'll notice and enjoy but not too ridiculous.

Any suggestions please and where to go in the South West.

Subaru are right about the 01-02 models not really making much of a difference with the ppp installed. Basically the bhp goes up from 215 to approx 242bhp.

When I had my 03 sti upgraded by tsl they said the 01-02 models were harder to map and power would only go up to 320bhp compared to the 03 onwards which tool then up to 333bhp.
