Default Urgent: Optimax on the M4?

Hi

I have to collect someone from Heathrow very late tonight. Are there any Optimax stations on the M4 between Bristol & London?

Can't think of any but Reading services west bound does Bp Ultimate.

Possibly Swindon services does shell, but not 100% certain.

Just checked on the Welcome Break web site and yes Membury services just outside of swindon does Shell Optimax heading in either direction on the M4 .

Thanks but the Shell website has changed - you can't put in a route any more.

The exhaust burble will keep you awake anyway .

Watch out for the thames valley Vectra vxr thats now cruising e reading to swindon area, they have two one marked and one un-marked. They also have an 02 plate Omega in dark blue.

Have a safe one fella.

Gingerboy
Thanks for the tips, I'll watch out for any Xeon headlamps!

I put just anything in when I went to the IOM & the car REALLY wasn't happy at all.

If you get really stuck get off at 8/9 and head up the A404m (8 miles each way I think) and there's a shell station that is 24 hour there that sells optimax. A long shot but should you need it it's there

Thanks guys, it all worked well. The Optimax at Avonmouth (M5) & Membury (M4) sorted me out.

Time for bed!
